Guest guest
> > No. I haven't bothered with that. I know I'm overloaded with mercury from childhood all through life, so am metal poisoned. I am putting my money and energy into resolving that, and hoping my immune system will come back up enough to fight off the chronic infections that build up with long term CFS. I have read the Roadback site years ago tho and knew many that got on long erm antibiotics and never got well from that and many were harmed from the long term antbx, so I decided it was not a direction I was willing to go. I didn't feel it was getting to the root of why my immune system wasn't working, and after many many years of following all the cfs research and reading, I really feel my issue is mercury/metals and dental and the Cutler method is likely the only thing at this point that can offer me hope to restore health. > > Thanks for the info :-) > > Marcia ------ I think that's a wise choice. There was a woman on this board a few years ago with MS. She chelated for awhile and saw some improvements - she had a slight limp. Then she got on the lyme boards and decided to go that route. She followed their protocal to the letter which just involved salt/vit c -- in huge quantities. She had a huge die-off reaction at week 12 and became paralyzed. Tk suggested at the time that the huge die-off released alot of mercury and that was what harmed her (if memory serves correctly). A year later after numerous other therapies (although not chelation) she was still paralyzed. The owner of the salt/c site sort of blew her off until I called him on it. In any event, it appears she was on the right track treating the metals and sadly changed direction and just treated the infections/viruses with a devastating result. If Andy could comment on this situation, I'd be very interested to hear his take on it. Val
Guest guest
------ Now THAT is so sad! But it shows how critical it is to make the right choice about chelation. For me its come from reading about others experiences such as this one (altho never read a 'paralyzing' one). If we make the wrong choice, often the results are permanent. Killing 'bugs' with drugs does nothing to restore the immune system, but I'm banking that chelation can. Yes, I'd love to hear Andy's comment on this womans case also.
