Guest guest
I would like an answer to this question as well. My son is on the AC protocol with DMSA, 3 days on, 11 days off. While on round he needs a lot of extra zinc and magnesium and a strong yeast protocol. But how long after a round finishes do you have to continue with this? Also, once we add in ALA, what do you do about zinc supplementation, if we are using DMSA too? DMSA causes zinc depletion, and ALA makes you you retain it, correct? So what does one do? Thanks. That is the most important thing, not what works for someone else.-----------Jackie Also, once we add in ALA, what do you do about zinc supplementation, if we are using DMSA too? DMSA causes zinc depletion, and ALA makes you you retain it, correct? So what does one do? --------------I believe Andy is less concerned about lowering zinc intake with ALA now, but I don't have time to search for posts right now. There is tons of information in archives, onibasu/wiki, and the ANDY INDEX. Take some time to search in these places. Here is one post by Andy that is linked at onibasu/wiki under supplements.---------Jackie http://onibasu.com/archives/am/41465.html And for children, I always think it's good to check with the Autism-Mercury list people, and the supplement file there.-----------Jackie Thanks. Guest guest
If you guys are looking for Andy's recommendations, I suggest you use onibasu and search archives of the three chelation groups, Autism-Mercury, Adult-Metal, and Frequent Dose. Click on those three groups, put " andrewhallcutler " in the search box in parenthesis along with whatever you want to search for, such as zinc and ALA. www.onibasu.com There is also lots of information already compiled for you in the ANDY INDEX and at onibasu/wiki, but the wiki is a work in progress, so might not cover everything, so searching archives is best. I don't want to sound rude, but people need to learn how to use these resources and do some researching themselves. When I was first learning, I spent alot of time reading the ANDY INDEX, etc. I have alot going on right now personally, and is gone for awhile, so people need to help out and/or research things for themselves. I don't mind answering questions, but I have limited time, and don't have time to do all the searching for links to posts. Ok, sorry for the rant, but take this as a gentle nudge to do some research on your own Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation beigetable wrote: > > I would like an answer to this question as well. Irene I posted my question on the autism-mercury Yahoo group, in more concise form; perhaps someone there will answer.

Here's an example search for anyone who wants to play with it: http://onibasu.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi? query=%2Bfrom%3Aandycutler+phosphatidyl* & submit=Search! & max=20 & sort=da te%3Alate & idxname=am & idxname=fdc & idxname=amc Jay
