Guest guest
I have been chelating for about 1 year now and I have experienced improvements in many areas. During the entire time, I have been taking HC, DHEA, and testosterone daily. I recently saw the doctor who has been prescribing my adrenal support.I expressed the hope that, after a rest, my adrenals would heal, and I would be able to reduce the dose of my medication. The doctor told me that, in his experience, once the adrenals are gone, they don't usually come back. My understanding (from Andy's book and from some posts to this board) was that it was important to support the adrenals properly during chelation and that the idea of taking HC was to give the adrenals a rest so that they could later resume their own production. I realize that this is individual and probably the only way to manage it is to experiment with the dose, but I'd like to hear from others who were able to reduce adrenal support over time. Thanks. ----Katharine
