Guest guest
Quick update!! After having read someone's message regarding this (sorry can't remember who) I suggested to Gethyn that we have our Xmas Dinner on Xmas Eve and then have something nice but easy on Xmas Day and he thought it was a great idea too I should add he does most of the cooking inc. Xmas Dinner. Thanks to whoever mentioned it I hate the way cooking interferes with my Xmas Day of relaxation and telly !! not this year it seems ... I will sit and think of you whilst we are having our meal on Christmas Eve. I usually reward the boys with a small present after (late) lunch so we can sit and have coffee in peace and quiet whilst they go off and play! It sort of fall nicely for us as we go to Midnight mass (held about 7pm!) so a lazy afternoon is quite nice to have. They generally stay up until the wee hours Xmas eve eating copiously, then Xmas day is more of a relaxed affair. Makes sense to me, too.
