It's frequently part of the adrenal/yeast vicious cycle. Treating for both helped me tremendously. (Adrenal cortex, oil of oregano, 15-30,000mcg biotin and 50 billion units of a good probiotic daily). I was also very depleted in D, so I'm on 5,000 mg/day. You could also explore whether there is stomach acid insufficiency (the stomach acid " pump " often shuts down when the adrenals do). As well, the darker the urine colour in general, the more dehydrated this means you are. Are you spreading the water-soluble supplements (B, C, biotin, herbs) over the entire day? Good luck,
Guest guest
An all low hair test can indicate malabsorption. See AI or HTI. Gluten intolerance is famous for causing malabsorption. I had an all low hair test, and later tested positive for antibodies against gluten. Making sure you can absorb what you digest (including all those supplements!) is important. I treated for a gut yeast infection. I took lots & lots of probiotics. I take digestive enzymes with extra HCl, and a maintenance dose of probiotics. Per the lab recommendations for gluten intolerance, I took lots of B12 and folic acid for about 3 months.
