Hi All,

I discovered this wonderful group several months ago, by way of AMC.

I was reading AI at the time, then bought HTI, and had this test done

in January. It appears to meet 2 counting rules.

---------Correct. 5 or less bars to the right, and 4 in the red, meets 2

rules. Quite clearly deranged mineral transport going on. And very much an all

low profile. I assume recommended digestive aids like Betaine HCl to

improve digestion and absorption of nurtrients? And supplemental

lithium?---------Jackie

I'm 58 and was diagnosed with MS just a year ago, after an attack of

stabbing pains in my arm. MRI and lumbar puncture were done to

confirm the diagnosis. A year earlier I was diagnosed with peripheral

neuropathy, with somewhat numb-like paresthesias on the bottoms of my

feet. That had started just after surgery to remove an ovary with a

rather large cyst, which in turn had followed a long period of

extremely heavy menstrual bleeding.

At present I still have the paresthesias in my feet, and similar

sensations in my hands have been added, along with (since last

summer) balance problems and " rubbery legs. " Other symptoms include

tinnitus, low body temp, brittle thinning hair, short-term memory

problems, difficulty concentrating, etc. I took Rebif injections for

7 months ending in January.

I'm in Seattle, so have been to see , who recommended

kelp for mild hypothyroid, in addition to the usual supplements Andy

recommends in AI. I'm also in the midst of having my remaining 7

mercury fillings (plus one metal crown) removed, and hope to be done

with this by the end of June, then start chelating with the proper

protocol.

---------You should be in very good hands with .---------Jackie

The previous several years I had been feeling generally unwell,

especially with digestive problems and low energy. I had read a lot

(of course!) and tried many supplements, including, at various times

alpha lipoic acid, chlorella, and cilantro. I didn't even know I was

mercury toxic, but had read how great these were supposed to be for

everybody! So now of course I wonder if their use could have made me

more mercury toxic than I already was.

----------What's done is done. Many people have been misguided into doing the

wrong thing, so don't beat yourself up about this. It has happened to most of

us. Just be thankful that you've found the right information now, and how lucky

of you to be right in Seattle!-----------Jackie

I'm also trying the BBD (best bet diet for MS), though I haven't yet

totally avoided all the forbidden foods, but I'm getting there.

(, I'm glad you said it helped your walking issues----it gives

me hope!)

Anyway, I've been spending a great deal of time reading the posts

here and the archives, and learn more every day. Of course I forget

it right away!<g> There are so many knowledgeable and helpful people

here, I'm just very impressed, and feel lucky to have found this

place.

-----------Things will start to sink in, the more you read it over and over.

And yes, there are alot of great people here to help you, and we're glad you

found us too! Good luck----------Jackie

Thanks,

Alice

Ooh boy, you've got an all low pattern, and 4 in the red. You are

awash in counting rules! Since you've got all low, everything else in

the toxic element range is going to show low too. In any case, you've

got a very high probability of being mercury toxic.

Lithium and cobalt are red low, so you want to consider taking lithium

orotate and B12 (could that be the peripheral neuropathy you are

experiencing?)

Other than that, I'm not seeing much more that I can get out of the hair

test. You know, I assume, that all of us should be taking at minimum

Mg, Zn, vits C & E and CLO.

Dave.

Dave,

Thanks for your comments. I've decided to add lithium to my huge

number of supplements. When I take supplements with a meal I put them

in a shot glass (to take a few at a time all during the meal) and

it's usually totally full! My hubby finds it amazing that I take so

much stuff, but I seem to need lots of things right now.
