Guest guest
Mehpare had a pet scan , cet, and an MRI this week as it was nearing the middle of her Folfox & Avastine treatment, AND her liver function tests had results causing concern that either there are more problems in the liver or elsewhere ...or it could be a result of the chemo ... I for one proepared myself for the worst and ... GREAT NEWS- the scan showed REGRESSION in her liver lesions! " A shadow with nothing in it " is how it was described ( ? ) and nothing nasty anywhere else, which is even more of a blessing. This is the first time a test result yielded smth positive since the beginning of the ordeal, for up to now we had had a setback with every turn. Needless to say we are elated. It was the best news we could expect under the circumstances. It feels like an extension of TIME to say the least. So far so very good. Even though I had no time to post recently, please know that we are keeping abreast of ALL the developments , and think of you all in our prayers daily. I find it hard to describe to friends and family, the support this group generates..
