Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I went to the Rheummy today and we are starting on CellCept and weaning off of Imuran. The joints are kicking up and the cough is starting to come back, ears are complaining a little, yada, yada, yada We are hoping that this works great! Have been very busy but didn't go back to work today after the doc, had a nice lunch with friends and then went to see Janice in a quiz bowl competition, they won and will be in the playoff next week and if they win they go to the state competition in April. She competes again tomorrow in a different tournament so I'll probably go to part of that - this one is in Ann Arbor which is a couple of hours away from here - and I''m not getting up early this Saturday - it's the only bye from Zach's basketball schedule so we are sleeping in (hopefully) - anyway a nice break from work! Track practice does start next week so yes on the run again - Janice and Mom Although, Mom does her running in a mini-van LOL! Hope everyone is doing well! Patty B. Try to get to the high school every chance I get to still watch, although it isn't as much fun when you don't know them all. Guest guest
Hi Patty, Let me know how the Cellcept works out for you. The Cytoxan is not working for me so I have to try something else. I talked to on Sunday and I told her we would make a trip tp Kalamazoo to visit so I hope we can all get together. I know the girls would like to see Janice. Let her know my little is going out for track. Of all things she wants to go out for Shot Put. Say Hi to the family for us. Guest guest
Sandy, you are having too many problems. I'm praying your eye sight will be okay. I never ran track, but Rich and all 3 girls did. Guest guest
, I'm really looking forward to seeing Patty and . Did you run track in school? This is 's first time trying out for track. She has always been on the swim team. Next week is Cleveland Clinic week for me. I see a new eye specialist on Tuesday. I have lost some of my central vision in both eyes. Praying it's not permanent. Also see my Pulmonologist and get a PF test. On Wednesday I see the Rheumy, don't know what he's going to do about the Cytoxan. I don't want to go off it because it has helped my Vasculitis so much. Hugs, Sandy Sandy, I'm so sorry to hear that the Cytoxon isn't working. DARN Sandy. We just have to get you on the right med. How have you been feeling? Gosh I worry about you. Guest guest
Regina, it doesn't sound like a pity party to me. And go and obsess over your tummy tuck...sometimes worrying about the little things is our brain's way of dealing with bigger issues. Hang in there, keep " talking " to us, and let us hold your hand, at least virtually. You're in my prayers. Jac Life is not a spectator sport Picture It Digital Designs <http://www.pictureitdigitaldesigns.com> XXX Farm Paint Horses <http://members.cox.net/xxxfarmpaints> Mail to: jholdaway@... Hi all Just wanted to thank you for all the support over the latest drama in my life with my upcoming hysterectomy. Right now can't sleep and walking around rubbing my belly. Right now it's the size of about a four month pregnancy. I'm really uncomfortable and the emotions are running high.Cannot believe how big and how fast it is growing. So disgusted about that and my beloved tummy tuck. Hoping there will be no permanent stretching and it will go back to being as flat as a board where I can bounce a quarter off of it after the surgery. I know, with everything else going on, this is what I'm worried about. It took me 40 years to acquire some vanity and I'd rather think about that then all the other crap associated with the surgery, like anesthesia that always makes me sick, four days in a hospital, blechh and then the few weeks of recuperating and telling my daughter to watch out when she comes near me so she won't hurt mommy's belly. Tired of bleeding like a stuck pig and was told today that my counts are so low that I may have to be transfused before the surgery. Taking iron suppls and eating iron enriched foods aren't helping with this much bleeding. I can't even maintain what little I have right now. Will be having blood drawn next week to check if counts have improved even slightly. Ok, pity party over. Just tired emotionally and physically. Needed to vent a bit and the hubby and kids are sleeping and the dog is having his own crisis with the thunder storm we're having and the cat could really give a hoot about my problems or anyone elses for that matter. Maybe should go have a talk with the fish. At least he's a captive audience. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
Jac: Well next to my uterus, my brain is certainly a " little thing " right now. I'm hanging, working, going to school and all that other stuff. Just would like a day or two of no pain or bleeding to pull myself together and get on with everything. The constant pushing is exhausting me physically and mentally. Thanks for the virtual hand holding and prayers. They're so much appreciated. Guest guest
> I would much rather hear about it then find out later that ya didn't > share. Thanks Lori. Just felt that you guys were as sick of hearing about this crap as I am going through it. I've got a really good sense of humor, but have to admit that even that has almost been taken to the limit. Just spoke with my plastic surgeon, bless his heart, such a wonderful man. Told me that he doesn't feel that there will be any permanent stretching, but told me to come in on Monday (free of charge, not even billing the insurance company) and he will sit down and talk with me and take a look. Basically said that we'll know for sure after my surgery. Just started crying on the phone with him. Can't remember the last time I felt like such an ass. Thanks again, its nice knowing I have someplace to vent when I don't want to over tax the hubby or my friends. Most of them don't even know that I'm going in. I know that the first reaction will be a joke about me being in the hospital again or someother thing that I would usually laugh at, but not in the laughing mood. Will let them know when I'm feeling better. Possibly two to three weeks post-op. : ) Regina

Guest guest
Had TIA #4 so now I get to have a neurologist added to my list of docs. So how fun is that? I'm sure BCBS is SOOO proud to see another trauma ER visit. Only to have the ER doc say, yep, that was another one, and let me go home. Trying to keep a good spirit and not think about it much. Loving the Ativan and staying calm. Only I slur a little now when I get tired. I hope everbody is having a pleasant Saturday - or early Sunday as it happens to be for some. I am resting and looking into my black lab's calming eyes. He is such a good boy. S, Lubbock, TX NSIP w/PF 12/2006 et al
