Guest guest
I just got the results of my last blood test. My dr. used a different lab this time -- we've used BioReference Labs for the past 3 years (and they seemed good), but this time it's an unknown lab called Sunrise Medical Labs in Hauppage, NY. A few things seemed perhaps slightly off, but not overly striking. However, for the first time EVER, my glucose (blood sugar) was elevated above the normal reference range (normal range is 70 - 100, and mine was apparently 130). In all my previous blood tests in the last 3 years, my glucose was usually in the 83 to 99 range (non- fasted). There is NO reason it should now be 130; nothing has changed other than I'd gotten all my amalgams out a few weeks prior to the blood test (but I *certainly* don't think that would do it). BTW, I had not fasted for the blood test (it was taken in the late afternoon), but for most of my previous blood tests, I'd also not fasted. Also, I had not just eaten or had any sugar. Any feedback appreciated. Suzanne
