Guest guest
I know how you feel I came in from picking DD! up from playgroup and flicked on Tweenies BBC1, only to find pictures of the plane hitting the tower and them both collapsing. Unfortunately couldn't see any more than that as I was overwhelmed by shouting re: non-appearance of Tweenies. DH rang to ask what was happening. (No TV's in a steel foundry!) Told him I had to watch Tweenies! Had to go and listen to clock/radio in bedroom for news. Kept expecting Bruce Willis to turn up, but then in 'Die Hard the good guys win!! I had no idea what was going on untill about 5pm when my mum rang me.....not sure if I'm glad I haven't got a telly or not.I certainly know that all these disaster films numbs you to such horrific pictures ....only seeing the stills via internet makes it seem even less real ......so unfortunate that it's not.Spookily I have just finished reading a book about the almost collapse of America but as was said above in fiction there is more often than not a happy ending. trying to send positive thoughts to all those involved Sonjia
