Paper added to files regarding GERD

Hi Everyone,

I am what you would consider a lurker and although I read the

forum every day and laugh and cry with you all I do not seem

to participate.

I was diagnosed last year with UIP although the diagnosis on the

CT scan said unusual instead if usual (is there a difference)

My question is in regards to the paper because I seem to fit it

to a tee, no heartburn except very occasional in the middle of

the night.

Has anyone used Omeprazole or the over the counter Prilosec.

I am going to take the paper to my family doctor to see if he

knows of any side effects to taking the " stuff "

Seems to me something is better than nothing and the only med

I am on is NA.

My last Ct in April showed minimal change from the year before.
