I just did a quick google and found this company

-----------I looked at the link, and this product also contains MSM, but I

couldn't see where they said how much. But MSM is very sulfury, so not good for

people who need to avoid sulfury foods and supps. Sorry!---------Jackie

that says that it does not use shellfish in their

glucosamine sulfate forumula.. ANd they do say that if it is

made with shellfish that it is a worry for mercury avoidance

diets..

Darn another search for a supplement .. Lets share if we

find a good one-- the cheaper the better eh??

--Here are some things I have dug up.

IN the advertising of glucosamine sulfate when made using

shellfish , I have seen have been made from lobster and

shrimp. This article says that lobster and shrimp are one of

the lowest in mercury levels.

http://www.articlesbase.com/health-articles/is-lobster-a-healthy-or-

unhealthy-food-102536.html

So whether the cartilage from which the glucoasamine is made

has a high proportion of mercury compared to the total fish , I

do not know.
