essiac tea and flax seed oil

Hi there,

Does any one know if essiac tea and flax seed oil can be taken between

chemo cycles? My dad is on CPT-11 for his colon cancer, which has

spread to his abdomen area and lungs. He will take chemo infusion one

day and he will have 3 weeks until the next chemo. Our naturopath

says it is OK between treatments, but will not recommend day before,

on the day and day after an infusion.
