Guest guest
June, Sounds like the process of detoxing and die-off. Sluggishness, tired, fluey etc can definately lead to a more depressive state. I truly believe that as you heal *this too shall pass*. Are you taking an acidophilus supplement or eating the yogurt? The sooner the bad bugs are replaced with good, I believe the quicker healing and feeling better will take place. Glad to hear you are feeling better in the gut though Charlene UC 8 years SCD almost 6 years Hi all, Has anyone experienced depression after being on the diet for a short while? It will be 3 weeks for me WEdnesday and for the past few days I have been feeling very low energy and depressed. Just wanted to know if any of the adults have experienced this. My bowel symptoms are much better so I am continuing. Thank you, JUne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Dear June, Don't worry about the emotional ups and downs. The first month is a little difficult because so many changes are happening...but the good outweighs the negative and you will notice this as you continue along. The body adjusts and so does the mind. I did feel a little " down, " a little " off " the first month, but this passes. Keep reminding yourself how your body is recovering, each and every day. The emotional ups and downs will pass. Best wishes, Ronnie SCD 7 weeks, IBS/suspected parasite infection > > Hi all, > > Has anyone experienced depression after being on the diet for a short > while? Guest guest
>Yes, I had those problems but within a few weeks they were gone. I am assuming it was realted to die-off. It's a good thing too I can hardly keep up with my hungry little guys! Mandy > Hi all, > > Has anyone experienced depression after being on the diet for a short > while? Guest guest
Round 4 (during week 4) of 3,5 days on, 3,5 days off. I have started adrenal support only recently and will see how it goes, then lower dose if not going away. I find that about day after round, it lifted completely, so will check what happens during next round. Regards Jaco
