Guest guest
Hi everyone... Attaching a photo of my favorite Christmas present, which was of course from Glenn. This is not the norm for Glenn...he always gets me nice presents, but usually something I need....I cried when I opened this...it's something I'll always cherish from him. The visit from Glenn's children and wife-y went well...yes, really!! I was comfortable b/c I was on my turf and in control. I think she was totally uncomfortable. I think she was just plain curious about me and maybe about where Glenn was living. They all chit-chatted, but nothing serious and nothing to do with reality. I felt like I was in the twilight zone... it was totally surreal. They never asked Glenn how he felt...not once in 3 hours. Wife-y has not seen Glenn for 2.5 yrs., he's lost over 100 lbs. and he had to ask her " Do I look different? " ...her response, " Yeah, you're suppose to look younger than me? " " What the h..l kind of answer is that?? Dinner was good...she brought fresh sliced turkey, stuffing and gravy. I made mashed potatoes, corn and pumpkin pies. Was yummy!! Get this...when they were getting ready to leave, they were almost out the door... I wanted to scream!!! I was so furious!!! I counted to ten...and finally said, " Don't you guys think you should hug your Dad goodbye? " No hugs, but they did come back to his chair and say " Bye Dad " ....??????????? Well, I've done all I can do and all I'm gonna do!!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and celebrated with lots of family, friends and love, making memories to always treasure!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle
