Guest guest
Haven't a clue - it's not impossible that there is something _else_ in garlic, but it's definitely high sulfur, which is necessary for the fungi to grow. So, I should have been clearer - in relation to chelation, I've learned to think of certain foods in terms of their potential to cause negative reactions due to their sulfur, phenolic or salicilate context. Also, in relation to allergy type reactions. I suppose I shouldn't have just lumped all sulfur foods together. Sorry. .... I just went to check on Dana's web site - she has a lot of info collected for parents of mercury toxic kids. Here is her stuff on yeast: http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Garlic is indeed there. Though, I have to say it should probably only be used for someone who is low sulfur. Ok, thanks for letting me know! Dave. ------------------- Posted by: " jigglerpuff " jigglerpuff@... (Check the Autism-Mercury list and this list.) Wow thats so strange, all the candida sites state that garlic and candida dont get along and to take garlic supplements to help remove it.... i guess i will have to do research on that, but why are they recommending it?
