I only see him 3x/year and have to travel three hours to another state. If he gives me a prescription, I understand that I should have it filled by mail order at the Falls Pharmacy for the best price. What dose should I ask for? I have many symptoms and expect to be chelating for three years. I've just done DMSA at 6.26 mg every 3 hours. Round one was rough so I decreased to 3 mg but that felt like nothing so I went back to 6.25 and was fine except for a maddening, intractable yeast flare-up. I would want to take it every 6 hours (for personal scheduling reasons). Should I ask for a DMPS prescription for both 6.25 mg and 12.5 mg, and fill the first one and hold onto the second one? Or, since the ($$$) per-capsule price probably isn't much different for a small dose or large dose, should I request a large dose like 25 mg and then fuss with dividing the capsules? Thanks, Kris H.
