I have a ten year old daughter who has developed a thyroid condition and I am looking into whether she has a heavy metal problem. ---------Hi Mike. As Summer said in her post, we recommend the DDI Hair Elements test to help determine toxicity. It gives lots of useful information, and is really the best place to start. You can order the test without a doctor through Direct Labs, info should be in the Links and Files sections. Let us know if you have more questions about this. And Andy has also written a second book about Hair Test Interpretation, which is also fabulous. And I highly recommend the hair test, because many people think they only have mercury toxicity, and come to find they may have problems with other metals as well. I would have never known that I had an arsenic problem, if I hadn't done a hair test. And come to find out, it's in my well water. Others find out they have other metals that are high, including copper. So the hair test is invaluable. It will also point to other possible problems, such as adrenal, thyroid, blood sugar, etc., so a very useful test.------------Jackie Mike In frequent-dose-chelation , " summergrogan " wrote: > > My daughter is on her first round in a few months.
