Guest guest
Dot, I still want to laugh, and I do occasionally, but most times that will lead to coughing. It would be nice to have one of those laughs that come from way down and just keep coming until your sides hurt. And I took Elavil also in my younger days. It did help with sleep and also mood, but imipramine lets me be who I am supposed to be. I hope you are feeling strong mentally. I feel better now mentally than at any other time of my life. Without imipramine, I couldn't have come so far with this disease. I cry when listening to music. Just last week I cried while listening to Clair De Lune, but it was one of those happy cries that I don't mind at all now. And I can relate to your having a gorrible time with you rbiopsy. I had gone in to the biopsy with a lung function of greater than 60%. Six weeks later at Tulane, my lung function was less than 40%. Even with O2, the 6MW was stopped before completion. I wish we knew more about what about our biopsy caused such a problem. I hope you are back to where you should be after your biopsy. I wouldn't discourage anyone from having a biopsy, since normally it goes smoothly. Still we don't know as much as we should.
