Guest guest
Welcome back. I had a discussion recently with UTSW regarding the torture of PFT's to more advanced patients. You know from your saturation how you're doing and as poorly as one can do the PFT's the information gained is limited. I can't do volumes and DLCO in my doctor's office, but can at medical centers such as U of Chicago or UTSW. Now, glad you are having the echo and if it doesn't turn out like you'd hope, don't panic, just do the catheter and find out the facts. My pressure on my echo was 47, but on the catheter is was only 18. Well, welcome home and rest and recover tomorrow. Hope its a good porch day but imagine too hot. > > Hi group, I got back from my Dr. around 7PM sure a long day. I was > unable to do the PFT's. I knew I didn't have that kind of air > anymore..
