In that case do we need to never worry about too high doses/??? ------------That's my understanding, is that the water soluble supps are not retained or built up in the body, like the fat soluble ones can. But using the word *never* would also be unwise, because we are all different in how we react to things. It is always best to build dosages up slowly, and see how you react. You could google individual supps to find out at what levels are they toxic, or you could get a book, such as " The Encyclopedia of Nutrional Supplements " by Murray, which Andy does refer to in AI, also see page 170.-------Jackie sorry do not know the answer.. I think Andy has indicated that zinc should be reduced while on ALA. ----------That was his conservative position when he wrote AI, but I think if you search archives, you'll find that he's not as concerned about this anymore. Sorry, I don't have time to look. You can read what he says about zinc on page 260 of HTI, where he explains that toxic people need alot.---------Jackie I've just started DMSA and find I need even more molybdenum (previously 900 mcg/day but somewhere I believe Andy has recommended 1000-3000 mcg/day) to alleviate a body odor problem (apparently due to insufficient phase-two sulfation), that gets worse on DMSA. ---------Yes, Andy recommends high doses of moylbdenum for people with low sulfate.----------Jackie > > It seems to me that supplementation needs must vary drastically on > round vs off round. > > Has there been any guidance or discussion on the issue of how, if at > all, to adjust supplementation off-round?
