Guest guest
I spoke with Dr. Amato on Monday and she recommended we try just half a lexapro tablet with Mr. and see how he did. Since he is on the depakote allready we should be able to add that without the SSRI problems. She said that it was definitely worth a trial. " If it works, " she said, " it works amazingly well. Just try it and see. " We tried it. Today was the THIRD day in a row with NO raging! I can't remember the last time we had ONE day with no raging, and now we are three! He says he feels more relaxed, calmer, less antsy. I've noticed that he's been trying to interact more, even if inappropriatly, and that he's not nearly as standoffish. It's kinda weird. We are not used to that with him. He's done alot of pouting, whining and begging, but NO major tantrums or agression. Could it be we have the right formula? If at least for a while? This is very promising. Being on gaurd every moment is SO tiring physically and mentally. Now if the younger two would stop with the screaming.
