Stefani, I don't know if what I had was what you are looking at, but I

had a 2nd machine that sat on top of my concentrator that refilled the

smaller D? tanks. ly it was a pain in the ... if you are on lower

lpms its not bad but for someone like me who sits at 7lpm and above it

just doesn't work. The higher the lpm the longer it takes to fill the

small tanks. Because I work I could only start refilling the D? tank at

6pm when I got home. It might be full by 10 when I would switch since I

needed 2 tanks to get to and from work. Then I had to leave the sucker

running all night. The only way to fill them faster was to lower my lpm

on the concentrator since they are taking 02 from the concentrator to

fill the tanks. I love my E tanks which last much longer and I can have

more of a cushion to fall back on. Sorry hope this makes sense.

facility to see what they carried. One gentleman who was there getting

a new size 'tank' suggested I look into IFill. It is a concentrator

that will fill tanks. He says it is more economical and nicer to use

because you don't have to mess with the reservoir. You can always top

off a tank. Does anyone have any experience with these? He said he had

4 different sizes of tanks, but did not have a stock pile of tanks

because he could always refill his own. I have yet to see if the

insurance folks will cover it. Sounds too good to be true, but would

like to know so I can discuss with my pulmo guy.

Steph .... Yes, I previously used the home fill tanks and loved them! When I went from Apria to Lincare they were no longer available. I suppose I could get them if I raised hell but I haven't.

They are easy to use and if you know you're going out fill an extra one.

Of course it depends on much o2 you are using...I was on 2L then too.

We're all different so be sure and ask all the questions pertaining to YOUR NEEDS...
