Guest guest
Darlene,I am so sorry to hear about your arm, I hear you about the surgery thing, I hope you get better with just the brace. We've missed you, but get better, this typing wears me out, and my arms are fine. Blessings, Marl a Hi all, I thought I would bring you up to date on me.............I have been reading all the posts but have not been able to participate very much in the messages........and thought I had better let you all know why. First, about two months ago, I injured my left arm and thought it was broke! Got it caught between my recliner and end table as the recliner tried to tip over... (YES, I WAS REACHING TOO FAR) !!! LOL Anyway, I had it xrayed and it did not show any break or fracture. However, it continued to hurt and I started getting pains and tinglings in my hand, arm, and up to my shoulder. So.........went back to Doc and had a neurological test and I have a pinched nerve in my wrist, one in my elbow, and am wearing a brace. They said the alternative was surgery and I am NOT ready for that! It is hard for me to type with the brace on. I have taken it off to write this. Also, for the past 4 weeks, I have taken my hubby back and forth to Doctor as he has had cataract surgery on both eyes and we had to go have it checked every other day. He had each eye done separately. He is doing great!!! I am sorry to have missed the birthdays.........I read them all and hope you all had wonderful birthdays. Guest guest
Oh my, Darlene! I've had a lot of near misses, leaning over to get something. I have a grabber, but for some goofy reason, I'd rather flip upside down than use it! I think I'll be more careful after hearing your story.
