Heart Palpitations caused by sulfur food?

Two days ago when I ate some pieces of grilled chicken that had garlic

in them, I noticed, maybe 5-10 minutes later, strong heart

palpitations. (It took about 15 minutes I think for it to calm down

somewhat when I drank water and ate other foods).

Could it have been the garlic? Since it is a sulfur food could these

foods create such a reaction? Since this was restaurant food, I am not

sure if the chicken had any other spice that could have been a problem.

Thanks
