Guest guest
Cara - yes, lithium orotate or lithium aspartate. These are nutritional supplements and have lithium content much lower than the (potentially toxic) lithium carbonate that is used for bipolar cycling. Try and see if it helps. If not, drop it. I've had 3 hair tests during the last 12 months and all show undetectable levels of lithium. I still have fillings in and have made huge improvements in my physical health mainly by changing diet but I still go through periods where I'm easily irritated by others and want to become a hermit and when this is real bad I feel unable to control emotions. Or would lithium levels correct themselves eventually during chelation? My moods whilst annoying are bearable most of the time and I can still get on with my life. I hope this is not OT? It usually works very quickly, though just out of interest, many report that it takes the edge of a bit too much. Getting easliy irritated allows for near-constant adrenaline release, and this anxious feeling can be addictive. Creative people especially miss that unstabile edge and find they have to lower the dosage of lithium. I've mostly found people do well on 5mg and thereafter 10mg.
