This is the response I got back from this guy regarding the MGb bashing site

and the letter I wrote him. His email is listed on the site! I wrote him

back, gave him the address of the site and told him he better check it out if

he indeed did not know what I was talking about. Interesting....

Yes, if you don't label them as pre-op tests. ;-)

I had Dr. Elariny do my DS. He dies not remove it, either, unless it

is diseased. Nor, I believe, does Dr. Gagner. We take Actigall for

six months to lessen the chances of making gall stones from the rapid

weight loss.

You may have to add more calcium, but that is an individual thing.

Yes. Many DSers use them and have excellent bloodwork results post-op.

I was in those pubs as well, my DH lived on Kirkstall Lane (always referred

to at cricket matches, and I lived in one of those really steep streets

between Burley Road and Kirkstall Road.

The Yorkshire Ripper was very frightening and I know mum was always worried

about me coming home. I also drank at Bramley as my friend, a cousin and a

boy friend lived there.

DH (the 25/12 baby) thinks it's marvellous he used to get combined

pressies - it meant a horse one year.

We heard something a couple of years ago about how some research had

shown that people born on 25/12 tend to be very optimistic and believe

themselves to be particularly lucky.

No.... but I have been desperately trying to find them. They come from the same

manufacurer that sell the sugar-free pickles that everyone was talking about the

other day. I emailed Aurora Foods to see where in the Washington D.C. area they

might be sold. I have heard great things about them. We have no Super Walmarts

here. I have been wondering when there would be a company who would get on the

Low-Carb frozen dinner bandwagon.

Anyone try these yet.

Sugar-free pickles? Where have I been? Where can I find them? Are they in the

Super Wal-marts in the Central Virginia area?

Yes, I love them! They're not no-carb, but they aren't like the regular

frozen meals that are mostly starch (rice, pasta, potatoes, etc.) and a

little protein & veggies. I don't use frozen meals often, but when I do,

these are great, and they're not that expensive.

Does anyone know (can you go look?) if these frozen dinners contain SOY?

Soy sauce and lecithin are OK, but hydrolyzed vegetable protein, soy

flour, or any other unspecified vegetable protein are not OK for me

because of severe allergies. Because so many frozen foods have soy

protein, and because it's just me and my 3.5 year old daughter, I eat a

fair bit of frozen food... and there's about 8 for me to choose from (no

joke). Before I kill myself running around looking for these, would

someone kindly check their freezer for the ingredients for me? Oh, if

they have any other nuts or nut ingredients (peanuts, almonds, etc.)

they are also off the list for me. *sigh* Food allergies are a PITA!

Many thanks!
