Hi Folks,

I have a dilemma. I am planning to go to Washington, DC and my Oxygen company can only find one company that can supply me with Liquid O2 and they do not deliver on the days that I will be there. They can give me a concentrator, but that won't help me to go out and about. I plan to go on a Saturday and the company only delivers on Wednesday, so I'm going to call the hotel to see if they'd be willing to accept the O2 4 days earlier than my arrival. I'm amazed that a a city Like Washington, DC does not have an oxygen company that provides better service. I may be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I'm very angry because it this does not work out I will miss a great opportunity to go to the White House.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate any comments.

Thanks,

Adrienne

The portables I have used run off the cig lighter in your vehicle and it charges

your battery and it also has a battery pack. It also has a wall plug that you

can charge it and the batteries when you are some place you can plug in. I have

a cart it goes in sim to the one your tanks go in that carries it and the

battery pack and it runs off them.. I can also just carry it on my shoulder or

my dh carries it for me. They are not to heavy.

I love them as they give us more freedom and we are not stuck in one place. I

also have carried my home concentrator in the car with an inverter that plugs

into the cig lighter and then I plug it into it using the wall plug. Where

there is a will there is a away ... The one made by airsep that I have you can

take it on airplanes it was at the time one that was okayed for that kind of

travel.

hope this helps even though I am not Joyce..

merry

I count not a day complete till needle, thread and fabric do meet.

2009 will be mighty fine!

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil,

as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has

been turned off.

I just started on oxygen July 2nd of this year. I knew nothing about being on

oxygen. I went on a three week vacation to Florida. The company I use gave me

eight ctanks and a portable concentrator. The concentrator came with a

rechargable battery pack that had three batteries in it. It weighs about 10

pounds and has a shoulder strap. They also gave me the name and phone number of

a company in Tampa. Guess I got very lucky with my company.
