Guest guest
My son and I have been chelating for 10 rounds, the last 8 on ALA and DMSA at 3-hour intervals, dropping down to 6 mg. doses because of fatigue and depression on 12 mg. doses. Before we began this, he had been receiving per his DAN doctor a strep-killing protocol (very effective) that involves a two-step biofilm attack, giving EDTA 625 mg. and an enzyme prior to taking anti-parasite oils. This was given once a day, 2 or 3 days a week, depending on his reaction. Sometimes he was feverish and lethargic, with a 'hot' stomach, but we saw improved initiative and cognition. After having started 's protocol, and reading his books, I realized that EDTA has some mercury-moving properties. We haven't done any more with the EDTA but I'm wondering if it would be possible to start the strep treatment again if it was done in the middle of a standard Cutler protocol round? Would the EDTA release more mercury than the ALA and DSMA could keep in suspension during the round? The day or two after a round is over, we see more initiative and energy, and overall I feel it is already producing some benefits. We see the doctor again tomorrow and I am wondering what I should tell her about this. She is very pro-chelation, and was encouraging me to start it years ago, but didn't seem to understand about the issue of EDTA mobilizing mercury. What do you all think? Thanks, Barb
