Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I am still somewhat new to this, but one thing I learned early was that mercury toxicity predisposes you to other lovely issues like candida overgrowth and parasites. All these issues are defined as " insidious " because they sneak up on you by growing slowly. Since you mention digestive difficulties, have you read up on these other issues? Candida became an overnight nightmare for me, but a good thing nonetheless. Seems that it exposed these hidden problems I was carrying around, and since treating candidiasis, I have seen some dramatic improvements. I have spent a lot of time in Andy's supplement section and the candida and parasite forums on curezone.com. I have also spent a lot of money at the local vitamin shoppe. But wow does Andy's recommendations work (if you are mercury toxic it makes sense). Good Luck,
Guest guest
Many people do start the next round right away because they do feel better on round. I am just concerned about what your digestive issues are and whether or not anything can be done to address them (easier said than done). > > Am I correct in remembering that you need to wait until your symptoms from > redistribution have stopped before you start a new round? It was so good to feel normal again. For the digestive issues, if you have any avenues to peruse or direction, I'm all ears. I'll give you a little background on what we've already done. I have a lot of nausea and sometimes vomiting, mostly in the evening after dinner, and it's not connected to what I eat. I can eat a meal in the evening and get very sick, and then consume the leftovers later without a problem, so we know it can't be from the food itself. I eat a very careful whole-foods diet and prepare everything from scratch. I only purchase from facilities that do not produce any products with gluten in them to help ensure I don't have accidental exposure. I haven't eaten outside of my own kitchen in 2.5 years. I have celiac and had food allergies, but we have managed to heal all of them with some very intensive work. Current testing (IgG, IgA, IgG, and IgE) isn't bring up anything new. I continue to rotate my foods as a matter of preventative maintenance and habit. We used massive doses of probiotics, digestive clays, digestive enzymes, L-glutamine and milk thistle to address the problem, along with supplementing the nutrients that celiacs normally can't absorb until their guts heal. I continue on most of those supplements. Despite the vomiting issues, my bowel movements are normal and I don't have any bowel problems. I've hit the point where I believe the random nausea and vomiting might not resolve until I chelate. It had been gone for a while, then it showed back up on Monday, 2 days after I went off the round, so I'm assuming it was from the redistribution. I had no nausea whatsoever on round, and in fact I was able to eat much more food than normal and keep it down easily. Since I consider myself very underweight and am trying to gain, that was a Godsend. I put on two pounds in three days of chelation after eating all I could for 2 weeks before starting chelation and not gaining a pound. I felt great on round, and was eating everything I could get my hands on. In looking at my past, it appears as the nausea and vomiting come on in response to a mercury exposure- weight loss seems to be able to trigger it as well, I assume from mercury being released from that fat. When I was at my sickest summer 2006, I dropped 60 pounds in less than 3 months and had it severely 24/7 to the point I was in and out of the ER for rehydration repeatedly. My saliva test this past summer for my adrenals all came back normal except my morning cortisol was high, presumably they said from not having enough food the night before. So I don't believe it is connected to adrenal issues. My DDI hair test didn't have any big red flags in it, but we're chelating anyway because we know I have issues, having been exposed to two broken thermometers and having had amalgam fillings drilled out in my 20s without any protection before I learned of their dangers. If you have any ideas on how I can further help my symptoms, I'm definitely all ears. I'll take all the help I can get! Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Kerry Anne. You could check out and read about phosphatidyl choline in Andys books to see if it fits you.. It really helps me with the nausea. Glycine also .. mentioned as well in the book. I feel the selenium has calmed my gut down ,.. I too hope mercury chelation eventually gets rid of nauea> But I did find it did get worse during chelation , for me when I added in ALA> So it would be best to find something to eliminate it before more chelation. I had nausea for 27ish years ,I did liver and gallbladder cleanses, parasite cleanses, took lots of digestive enzymes. plus many herbs . No improvement at all!! It was H-ll!!! It went away with the enzymes by NOW which have bile salts in it. Plus taking milk thistle. I find the milk thistle extract supplements were useles , I use fresh milk thistle seed ground up , a good teaspoon before each meal. Also NAC as I am low sulfur. .. I am not totally sure if I did anything else.. probably NAC back then .. , It was gone for three years. I had just told someone on this group that I had gotten over the nausea , then a month later after more chelation with ALA and DMSA .. it came back ... Keeping our weight up and being sure we do digest our food is essential to getting better. Have you tried any of these things/? nanci > > > Many people do start the next round right away because they do feel > > better on round.
