Guest guest
First: a good night's sleep for me is like a boat that's open for boarding from 8:30pm to 10pm. If I'm not " on board " (in bed, lights out, drifting off to sleep) BEFORE 10pm, the sleep boat embarks without me, I've missed the boat and it ain't coming back tonight. No matter how much melatonin I take. 9 mg of melatonin + 9 mg of sustained-release melatonin (Andy's recommendation in AI) used to work great. That was back in April. The worse my mercury dump got (no chelating yet), the more I awoke at night, harder to get back to sleep. Required more and more melatonin in the middle of the night. 9 mg of melatonin + 15 mg of sustained-release melatonin was alright for awhile. Still awakening way too early, though, and unable to get back to sleep. Finally, this has been working consistently: 9 mg melatonin + 18 mg sustained-release melatonin every night before bed. I sleep 8 hours, nearly uninterrupted. I wake up energized, refreshed, not sluggish. If I do awaken at 3:30 am, it's a short time and I get back to sleep easily. It's been tested for about 5 days now, and the sleep is really helping my adrenals! I should also note I definitely feel like I've optimized my personal adrenal support now at 4 mg. of Medrol, total, per day. Thought this might help someone.
