Question about DIM (Diindolylmethane)

I'm giving my 7-yr old daughter DIM to help balance excess estrogen

and every morning since she started taking it, the urine in her diaper

has a red/pink tinge to it.

Is this normal? Does it mean that I am giving her too much DIM, not

enough? The DIM supplement is salmon coloured so I'm hoping the urine

tint is the result of the DIM coming out in the urine, hopefully with

excess estrogen.

She is currently taking 150 mg of DIM daily split into two doses, one

dose in morning & one late afternoon after school. She also started

taking 500 mg calcium-d-glucarate in two-three doses, also to help

regulate excess estrogen.

I've searched the archives and see that a lot of members have taken

DIM but I can't find any references to tinted urine as a side-effect.

I did find this side-effect described as " innocuous " as part of a

supplement product description, but coming from the product

manufacturer, the statement doesn't necessarily mean much!

Can anyone comment please?

Thanks,
