Guest guest
Hi all! I've been trouble shooting this new laptop I have as well as the email program. Every time I get on for a few minutes to say hello I end up spending a couple of hours on other things. I DO NOT, DO NOT like this Vista program. I'm waiting for the new Window's 7 so I can download the new program... Pictures are about all that's left to hang now. Lysa came over a couple of days ago and we got the drapes up. No small feat, that! At least we look like we live here and not just holding a 'garage sale'. We're having some difficulty adjusting to no outside entrance...we open our front door into a hallway, walk to the elevator and down 3 floors to get outside. All the hallways are 'decorated' at each doorway with various tenant preferences; artificial flowers and ceramic animals... Looks like a nursing home! I'll take some pictures and post later. Our apt is constantly stuffy but we are fresh air fanatics. We do have A/C that get's cold enough to hang meat so we are still finding a happy medium between comfort and hanging meat. Opening windows doesn't seem to help since we don't have a cross draft to keep the air moving. The apt. is nice though and is looking more like 'us' with each passing day. Lola has adjusted to the long hallway and the elevator. When we get back upstairs after a potty-break we unhook the lease and she just flies down the hallway to our door. Those little doxie ears just flapping! This move has made me aware of my stamina level for sure. I'm so tired, all the time. What stamina/strength I gain by resting I use up quickly by doing a little more to get settled. My body aches...muscles and joints and it seems to me that should be getting better. I've really been careful. No appetite...lost nearly 15 pounds. Yeah, who's griping? Have appt. with doc tomorrow. UWMC in Oct. I think I have a bladder infection, I've been researching that online. Well, think I've moved enough stuff around for today and shook enough stuff, wondering what to do with it... Love to all, special prayers to those dealing with special problems.
