TK--- your decision. Chelation is not a constant and things change during the process. You may need a break for a couple weeks if you have been consistent with chelation for your body to heal. Or You may need to reduce dosage for a little while or take it more frequently - [i would suggest reducing first of the two] Seems > there are differing opinions. TK--- [different options], each person is different and one option over another may or may not work for each depending on all the different factors. > > > > > >I am on my 30th round & was seeing some progress until the last > couple > > of weeks & seem to be nose-diving now - pretty much incapacitated. TK--- my suggestions would be to take a break and see how it goes - if nothing changes then restart at a lower dosage of maybe just dmsa - see how it goes and then adjust. > > > > 30 weeks? > > ....its been about 8 months. I was very gradually improving & then > WHAM - seems like back to square one! TK--- this can happen - I have experienced this a number of times - it can be fixed so you can continue to get better. Just have to find the correct option for you ie - rest, lower dosage, single chelator, supplementation, diet etc.... .....since I have always used both DMSA & ALA, I'm wondering if I > should try them separately? TK--- an option to possibly try. Which one? TK--- I would suggest dmsa first alone - lower dosage At least for the last 8 months > the 12.5 dosage of both seemed to work & I tolerated it OK. TK--- body burden can cause problems for people long term also which is why many of us recommend people start with dmsa or dmps to lower it first. > > > > > > Have you shown us a hair test? TK--- they can be very helpful and are not expensive Had the scarey challenge test TK--- yeah don't do this again, not informative and can be very damaging plus > many others. TK--- you may want to do some updated testing on these if you haven't to make sure oyu are supplementing optimally > > > Its been frustrating - my partner is constantly pressuring me to " do > something (!!) " like finding a doctor that can fix me! TK--- There are no doctors that can just fix you and most do not know what they are doing when it comes to Hg toxicity. There are some that can help with testing and advice depending where you are in the US ? has been of great help to many [seattle washington].
