MAryellen Ok...take out the " r " and turn the " eh " sound into an " uh " sound...then say it to yourself (rather quitely if child is in room...) Sadly enough, I went back through to read it to hubby...he got it right away. ::sighs:: ~Blessed Be, Aradia, Wife to Gregg, Mom to Brittney the Destructor, 5, PDD, Witch, and writer of all trades And who's hubby loves a whole different kind of percy~

Guest guest
> i am still lost. i think i missed an original post though! > > M.G.mum to I'll be blunt: Percy turns into Pussy if a child with articulation problems says it. I got it right away, but I have a dirty mind and I have heard this particular version of Percy from kindergarten-aged kids before. Many kids of that age have trouble with r sounds. My nephew at three loved construction vehicles, but somehow " trucks " turned into " fucks. " My parents thought it was so funny they'd ask him over and over, " what's that, Henry? " And he's say, " A pickup fuck! " LOL Kids! Leggs
