Was it because of the kidney obstruction? The doctor and staff need to understand that they are to contact you before any procedure is done and that you want to be there. Two hour is not too far away. You should call the nurses station and speak to the nurse who is assigned to your mom and ask about her condition etc. You are entitled to that and I am sure your mom would want you involved. Guest guest Posted December 9, 2005 Report Share Posted December 9, 2005 Shaleen, My mom has stage IV rectal cancer. Her tumor was inoperatable.
