Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your reply. Do you by chance know which ingredient in the ThreeLac is harmful? Where have you heard about some people having very bad reactions to it (eg. an online forum, etc)? Re: " Natural " agents take some time to work, but they do work, if coupled with diet. " ... I'm pretty familiar with the anti-Candida diet, but what natural agents were you talking about? Thanks, Suzanne PS. I'd read a few of your recent posts and found them quite interesting/informative. > > I believe that one of the ingredients in it is actually harmful. Some > people have had very bad reactions. Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, I'm glad you've liked my posts. I was under the impression that I'd simply waltzed onto this list and was taking up people's time. It's easy to do when you are ill, just grab the help you know is there. Would you believe I kicked another own goal today by trying to start a kidney cleanse using herbal tea; I'd had the herbs for quite some time and was waiting until I felt I could trust myself to keep my diet clean for a month. It whacked those durn adrenals just like the DMSA did, so that's the end of that for now. I saw a private doctor here (Dr. Peatfield) who is a specialist in metabolic medicine and while I was waiting for the results of a candida antibodies test he'd ordered for me (which turned out to be negative), I went ahead and did a few weeks of candida treatment. One thing I took, which he recommended for candida, was caprylic acid (a constituent of cocnut oil). My memory isn't so good due to the brain fog; I can't remember what else I took. I believe oil of oregano was also recommended. Any Google will turn these things up for you. I also can't remember where I read about the bad reactions to Threelac, but one of the bacteria it contains might be problematic. Here is an article I found which appears to give a good overview: http://www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com/threelacreview.html Of course, the importance of diet in eliminating candida can't be overestimated. Diet is a big key to health really, no matter what it is you are trying to put right. Good luck with this; if you do have candida, then you'll probably start feeling better soon with a good regime. .
