Hello,

Just wanted to let people know of a few things coming up in the next few weeks on the East Coast:

1) In burg, PA there will be an IPF Awareness seminar held on September 14 from 10a - 330p open to physicians, patients and their family and friends and is promising to be an interesting event with updates on research and topics including Managing your disease - the role of pulmonary rehab and oxygen, Maintaining your quality of life, Do stems cells have a role, My life with and without pf, to name a few. Five centers in PA are putting it on: Geisinger, Penn Medicine, Penn State, University of Pittsburgh - Center & Temple Lung along with the PFF and CPF. A block of rooms have been reserved uner the University of Pittsburgh, if interested please call direct . The flyer is listed on our home page under links.

2) Center Valley, PA - The 5th annual Wescoe Walk will be held on Saturday, October 24 - for further information please go to www.wescoewalk.org.

3) Cranford, NJ - Garden State 5K Run/Walk hosted by a pulmonary fibrosis patient and her support group. The 5K will take place in beautiful Nomahegan Park and will raise awareness and research dollars for pulmonary fibrosis.
