Guest guest
Hi To you!! And Thanks Update? Well let’s see, I see the doc every 3 months for PFT and CT, My last pulmo appointment In April the PFT showed some more volume and capacity loss I’m below 40%, the CT showed some more scaring and inflammation on the good parts of the lung. I gave the prednisone a try after I said I wasn’t going to but you know how that goes they make you feel guilty for not trying. The Doc had me up to 80mg I was on it for about 8 months and it wasn’t doing anything for me so I am going off of it now, I am down to 5 mg a day it has been interesting to say the least. They (doc’s) Just are not sure what to do with me It seems I don’t fit into any one box, although I am losing lung capacity and it’s seems to be progressing My 02 sats don’t drop I just run out of air and am tired. They want me to stop working but I don’t want to yet. I am going to do as much as I can while I can and I figure My body will tell me to “stop that†as it has already on some things. My Son and I are going to Florida for a week on the 24th of this month to see my daughter. The Doc asked me what my goal was And I told him I wanted to see my son graduate he is a sophomore so two more years and then he will be off to collage and I would love to move to be able to move to my place in Mexico. Well probably more then you wanted to know so enough for now. Walt on Whidbey IPF,Nsip.Uip. 06 Courage doesn't always roar. Guest guest
Thanks Walt... I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to have a place in Mexico! Take it easy and the two years will go by. If you have progressed more, do you want to be in Mexico to treat health issues? I don't know anything about the medical care /docs there. Thanks for the update. God Bless you and yours.
