Guest guest
Hannah We have laminate wood flooring in our lounge/dinningroom and it regularly gets spill's that wipes up no problem (no not a waterproof one) I find it really easy and am so happy with it. In fact dh and I are talking about putting it in our bedroom.. We layed it ourselves (a glue one) and it was actually pretty easy but I would recommend not having kids around for the day as it is a time consuming job and you are not meant to tread on it once it is being layed.. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already.

We have stained/polished/varnished floor boards in our house - no problems with spilage very easy to keep clean and they look clean (unlike some carpets) even when they are not clean. People mistake the muck for the knots in the wood I think. Never had any experience of laminate flooring but know a wonderful man who " does " floors but at a price.
