I have had a very runny nose and much coughing, but I don't have much of it anymore. A friend gave me a package of Fisherman's Friend, a menthol cough drop, containing 10mg of menthol, the most I have found in any cough drop. I was surprised to find that it cleared

out my whole head, probably including my brains.

Hi folks,I've been on prednisone since 1999. I get bone density test every 2 years, liver tests monthly, and about 1500-3000 mg calcium with vitamin D. Weight fluctuates but not badly.Tried to wean me off of the prednisone and I went into a terrible lupus exacerbation. Because of the liver problems and lupus have to stay on 5mg unless hospitalized and solumedrol is then administered by IV.So far no real bad side effects.
