Guest guest
Trisha says My DS1 has never been dry, but a few months back we got a new school nurse. Since then we have had various meetings and we have now turned a complete corner. From having wet beds every night we now have had about 6 wet beds since before the children broke up. Trisha, good to hear of your school nurse's success. I was a school nurse for a while ( after DD1 was born & B4 DS1) but found it very disheartening as the parents in 'my' schools did not seem concerned about health issues regarding their children (v.poor attendance for appointments, refferals etc. I did find working in enuresis clinic very rewarding though, as many problems are quite simple to sort out if you know how! Many people just don't realise how common this problem is! Liz Nicholls SAHM 4, 2, new babe Nov Sheff Chair, PNSGL, Editor

Bethany too has recently gone from every night to maybe once a month. It's such a relief not have all that extra washing. I have no idea why now - I suppose she's just grown out of it! ) Hannah, 27 Mum to Bethany 7, Lawrence 5 1/2, Verity 3, Alfie 6 months Visit me on the web at :- http://hannahshome.20m.com

It was always a problem in our house as DS2 has been dry for years (since about 3) but mainly because he has so many problems and it was actually too painful to wee. Lets just keep our fingers crossed, but he did manage one night in the tent (and it was rather cold) and one night at Grandmas and still stayed dry so I do have great hope. Glad to hear Bethany is doing well too. Trisha SAHM to 3 boys
