Guest guest
I think that some " trouble shooting " is needed. There are so many possibilities to look at (and I don't know what you have done so far, what supplements you are taking and so on). Diet is one thing to look at. Look at the " Diet - how to pick the right one for your kid " in the files section and the diet parts of AI. Most of us have had to make changes to our diet. It's worth talking about with others in the group. Look at the pages starting on p 133 of AI and try to match up symptoms with supplements (and pages 95 to 128). Pick one thing at at time (for example adrenals, thyroid, liver), think about whether your symptoms match stress to those organs, and then what can be done to support the organs. It is a time consuming process, but most of the answers are in AI, and many people here can help. From your symptoms I suspect that the place to start is with the adrenals. The twitching and loss of muscle power suggests *possibly* electrolytes to me, but there are other possibilities. I took an extended break from chelation because of pain and colon problems. Both worsened during the break, so I have decided not to take long breaks (months), just short breaks (weeks). If I was in your shoes I would continue with low doses of DMSA, doses that don't lead to on or off round worsening. I would leave ALA out for the time being. DMPS would be wonderful to have to help clear out the body burden - I expect that you still can't get that in SA. Hope things improve. Guest guest
Kyrre Are you also in South Africa ? DeanSA has a page on Adrenals and Thyroid on his website. It has good information for you. I also started chelation without addressing my suffering adrenals.( just didn't know) I'm taking good care of my adrenals now which makes chelating way easier. This the link: http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/adrenals_thyroid.html I trust it'll help you too.
