Ok, I have been logging this on my calendar. I am still suffering.

It has been 8 weeks since my last attack. I have done no chelation

since early May per chance this had anything to do with it. And even

then I chelated very rarely. Once a month. And did not have side

effects from it. But still having problems with this face thing...

This last attack lasted 6 days rather than my history of 3. First

attack last Sept. 3 days. Dec, 3 days, Mar 3 days, May 3

days...approximately.

What's been going on: I get this twinging, pinching, prickly sensation

in my lymph glands in my neck for a few days before this attack. I

sometimes have a few days of this and it goes away without me doing

anything and does not result in an attack. The sensation reminds of

what happens when you suck on a lemon or something very bitter. You

get this tightening sensation in your neck...

Anyway, then it progresses into pinching in the back of my mouth by

the jaw, as far back as you can go, as well as tingling in my

cheek/gums and upper teeth. I get this tingling, itching sensation in

between my two premolars on the upper right side. (same side all these

other problems happen). It seems to not matter...has no rhyme or

reason. The upper and lower teeth are subject to horrid pain and

tingling during these episodes as well as the cheek. There is constant

pain of varying degrees for those days involved.

The cheek feels slightly swollen and hard, you can feel the nerve

bundle is inflamed and very painful. The pain has a constant state

followed by intermittent attacks that intensify, sometimes lasting

5-20 minutes. The pain was so bad last Tuesday that I resorted to

rubbing straight vodka on my cheek/gums until I could get to the store

for Clove oil. (it works, old time anesthetic remedy). I used the

clove oil a lot during the week to help with the pain. Applying heat

or cold does not help. Cold . Eating, or a breeze on my face makes it

worse. Anyway, gradually the powerfully painful attacks diminished by

Sunday, where things were just sore, sensitive and tingling. Monday,

my cheek and mouth were sore to move/touch. Cheek/nerve still slightly

inflamed but improving. The next few days my cheek and that side of my

face felt dull, almost numb but not quite because I could feel it and

a bit sore. Today my face feels normal, but I note that there is a

very sore spot under/on my cheek bone. It's only noticeable if you

push on it or lay on your face. (I know..don't lay on it....) This

sore spot was noticeable before the attack. I noticed it when laying

on the chiropractor table two weeks ago. And of course, since I use

pressure points and massage to help alleviate pains. Found it that way

as well.

So now that my face is better (other than sore spot on cheek bone and

lower front teeth tingling..all of them) I began having that tingling,

prickly feeling in my neck lymph glands again.

As you can figure..I am baffled by this and have not determined what

is causing this. Only that the attacks are getting longer...so I'd

better figure out something.

Been on Olive leaf, Lysine this week...in case viral. But I don't

think it is..I have no fever or signs of illness. But I am told with

some infections..you don't.

FYI I did have that suspicious tooth x rayed in the fall. No abscess

at that time. They said it just looked like it had a deep filling

close to the nerve which " might be a problem " and they wanted to root

canal it. I don't do root canals..so I told them to pull it. They

refused. They offered to so some medicated filling thingy, but that is

risky. It's always been very sensitive to hot/cold since amalgam

replacement. Can't chew hard foods with it either. So nothing has been

done to it as of yet.

Could one sensitive tooth cause all this? The tmj I have had forever,

and I can't find any symptoms like this listed in connection with

that, not to mention my night splint should have stopped all this if

it were. My cavitations are on the other side. I have not root canals,

or metals.

Any ideas at all? It seems not linked to chelation....since I am not

doing any. But I am just guessing here and trying to throw out

whatever might spark some answers or ideas...

appreciate any help at all.
