Uh...killing a spider in this house would send a certain little boy into

hysterics (did I mention he is NT??). We have a capture and release program

here for all bugs (and slugs) except cockroaches (we have had this problem

with them ever since the access way was cut a couple months ago to get to

the plumbing in the bathroom) which get stomped in short order. Or the cats

eat them. Yum. My house smells like bug spray again.

There was some horrible bettle thing that got in our bedroom two summers

ago. We haven't figured out what this thing was but it was huge!! I mean

it was mutant beetle, at least 4 inches long. And it had these horrible

looking pincher things where its mouth should be and it was bright red.

was even scared of the damn thing. Never seen him scared of a bug

before. We sat there and argued for a half hour about who was going to go

over and kill it. We still talk about the mutant beetle and how it tried to

take over. It was really creepy. Glad I haven't seen another one.
