Guest guest
That's what I've done so far - wait for a whole week of dry nappies, leave a potty by the bed. I haven't lifted at night with either of the two down, as it were, but I haven't needed to for either of them. Make sure the potty prompt is given first thing in the morning. Good luck! DS1 toilet trained eventually in a hurry and seemed set to do it all at once - we went a fortnight with dry nappies at night. Didn't have decent protection for the bed (now armed with a lovely SamIAm bug print mat) and he wasn't complaining. He was quite poorly at the time (this was the time of the ?measles) and once he started to get better and was sleeping more heavily, the wet nappies came back. I think it really depends on your attitude to washing sheets/being disturbed in the night due to sogginess and whether he's bothered about being in a nappy. -- jennifer@...
