Guest guest
If candida thrives in a Hg environment and is used by the body as a defense mechanism, then I am assuming trying to kill it off would be bad for you and leave you more exposed to Hg. When the Hg is gone, then the candida will likely go away on its own. Interesting what you say about cilantro. How much cilnatro did it take to screw you up? The chef at a local restaurant gave me a cilantro salad while I was waiting for my food, and I felt like I had been run over by a truck for the next few days, but I don't know if it was coincidence or not. I thought you could take cilantro as long as you took chlorella at the same time to absorb any Hg released by the cilantro. > > Subject: Re candida overgrowth TO > To: frequent-dose-chelation > Date: Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 7:51 AM > .. > > This is my understanding of candida precisely as you have > noted..Huggins (I believe) says that Candida is a direct > result of > mercury leeching into your gut and its your bodies attempt > to curtail > it (mercury) and limit its damage..candida in turn leads to > parasites > and other gut problems etc etc etc > > I am sure there can be other root causes too like > antibiotics, > steriods, alcohol, your internal terrain being messed > up...so i think > good diet and eliminating sugars may help BUT will help a > lot more > once amalgams are gone and you are chelating > > My nutritionist told me that he and a group had done an > informal > study examining candida in people some 20 years ago with > either dark > field microscopes or something that has now being > outlawed..100% > correlation betwen people that had mercury fillings had > candida..those without mercury fillings had no candida or > very low > levels > > SO my feeling is all you can do with candida until you > chelate and > remove amalgams is stop gap even dangerous if you treat > candida very > aggressively with probiotics/aloe vera/etc and other > prescriptions...given the amount of mercury and other crud > that will > be released with die off > > > Cilantro is a mercury mobilizer per Andy... Candida is hell, believe me. And there are other causes besides mercury so I don't know that I agree that if you deal with the mercury, the candida will go away by itself. Maybe Andy can pipe in here or someone else. VAl

I thought it was only when the immune system was not functioning correctly that it was a problem. Is this not the case? > > ------------------ Candida is a monster. It can lodge into every crevice of your body - including your brain. The die-off, if done too quickly, can literally make you wish you were dead. I just read an account of a woman who was suicidal with candida. She got better - but she never mentioned mercury. The main culprits that I know are too many antibiotics, a poor diet of high sugar, and mercury. You have to rebalance your gut flora, radically alter your diet, take lots of supplements of various kinds, and sweat it out while your body hopefully clears it out. And yes, women are more prone to it than men. But men do get it. There is a ton of info on the net about it if you are interested in learning more. With your joint issues, it made me think of candida since it loves to get into the joints. Val

() - I don't mean to minimize the problems that people with yeast overgrowth or dysbiosis can have. I do want to point out that some of the information on the internet is misleading. One thing is that yeast cells are very large. They are mostly confined to body cavities, such as the mouth, gut, bladder, vagina. They only start to invade the body when the person is so seriously immune compromised that they would be in the hospital (like people with advanced AIDS). Toxins from die off might get into the brain, but not the yeast itself. I know that there is at least one person on autism mercury who says " yeast in the brain " so many times that people believe that it is true when it is not. Andy does his best to correct some of the information that floats through that group, but he doesn't have the time, or probably the energy, to correct it all.
