The family had gathered from far and wide because it was her 97th Birthday the following day. We all visited her in turns throughout the afternoon and evening. At 10o'clock that night after we had all gone home and she had seen us all she passed away. The staff said it was such a clear instance of willing herself to live until she was happy she had acknowledged us all and brought us all together. Hopefully I am not being insensitive in telling you about this but it was such a powerful and positive thing for her to do that I hope Glenn finds the same strength to bring his family together. To have those moments of family closeness and harmony is later a comfort. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all and I wish you a very special Thanksgiving. Love from Fran Thanks Fran....I love this story...truly intense and powerful. I'm praying Glenn will open his heart and let his Mom and brother back in...thus lessening his own burden. I'm hoping his Mom will say only the " right " things and keep her mouth closed when she should. LOL Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
