Absentmindedness... was cant believe I just did that..

My kids regularly have just peas, or perhaps pasta. Followed by

canned peaches if they are lucky. Every time I cook them a full meal

with different colours, flavours, and nicely balanced a la bel

Karmel they never seem to eat anything - they get overwhelmed just by

looking at it. But place a simple sausage in front of them, and it

disappears in seconds.

Mind you I know what you mean wrt absentmindedness.

I regularly find myself trying to look in my Filofax under T for

someone's telephone number (T as in telephone), or changing the

television channels with my mobile phone, or asking DS to stand when

I put his clothes on (forgetting he's not DD)!

And no I'm NOT pregnant.

Either my braincells just disappeared after I had children, or I am

multitasking too much!!
