I agree with you. The language of that report would be enough to send me running to the nearest specialist in ILD's. Where does your sister live? If she's open to the idea it would be good for her to be evaluated at the nearest university medical center with ILD specialists. Given your family history the more information she has about what's going on in her lungs the better off she'll be.

My sister sent me the actual CT report and here is what is said:"There are peripheral upper, mid and lower lung mild reticular densitites with interstitial and septal thickening. Small sites of honeycombing within the peripheral lung bases cannot be excluded."Sounds like she at least has nonspecific ILD, what do you guys think?
